Background & Rationale:
|
The newly adopted NWEA system will require additional student devices for grades K-1. Currently we have 24 devices per grade level per building. The increased use of devices due to NWEA will require each grade level to have 45 devices. Therefore, the district will need to purchase 420 devices. These devices will also be used to provide home access to K-1 students who do not otherwise have a device at home and need a device for remote learning, per the FCC's Emergency Connectivity Funds funding definition. The district will purchase these devices from CDWG from the current awarded bid which is good through March 30, 2023.
