Background & Rationale:

The District has sought options for live streaming for budgetary purposes. If the BOE selects to pursue any of these options, a request for proposal will be released.
Option 1 – $87,000
• Add 2 new cameras into the system. Add an AV bridge that has video and audio connect to it before hitting the OFE PC for streaming purposes. Upgrade the existing touch panel to a larger one to make camera controls easier to use on the touch panel. Re-program the system fully to make a better experience & more functional while adding streaming & camera controls on the touch panel.
• Equipment costs = $56,000
• Labor costs = $31,000
Option 2 – $52,000
• Re-use the OFE HDMI camera and send the signal to a new AV bridge that would allow the customer to combine networked audio & video mixing functionality into the PC to stream. Add an audio DSP for audio processing into the audio system already in the room. Adjust existing programming (assuming district can retrieve code from previous vendor)
• Equipment costs = $30,000
• Labor costs = $22,000
Option 3 – $38,000
• Re-use OFE HDMI camera and send to OFE dedicated Zoom PC via a new Video Capture Device. Add an audio DSP along with a USB audio device to get the audio from the PC into the audio system in the room. Adjust audio programming (assuming district can retrieve code from previous vendor)
• Equipment costs = $18,000
• Labor costs = $20,000
