Background & Rationale
:
During the permit process, Stan Harris, Director of Public Works for KCMO rejected the plans that speced out asphalt entrances. The buildings currently have asphalt entrances. KCMO is requiring that all entrances be concrete.

:
I move that the Board of Education approve a change order in the amount of 150,215.00 to Royal Construction and increase the overall contengency on the 2021 Building Upgrades from 135,900.00 to 211,215.00. This will leave 60,000.00 in contengency after the change order to Royal Construction for the remainder of this project.
