Board Governance -Engage with state and local legislators regarding impact of potential future law changes to communicate impact to district.
-Develop and monitor policies which are supported by actively involved parents and community members.
-The Board of Education, both individually and collectively, will consistently adhere to the agreed-upon best-practices and leadership behaviors.
-The Board will increase communication and provide opportunities for community input and questions for the physical and mental well being of our students.

Background & Rationale:
|
Under the provisions of Missouri Statute Section 115.124, if the number of candidates who file is the same as the number of positions to be filled by the election, there will be no election.
There are two positions available with three-year terms. The candidates are Alonzo Burton and Nodie Newton III. The same number of candidates applied for board office as the number of board openings. No election to be held.
