Background & Rationale:
|
The Special Education Department along with Transportation Department have been searching for a vehicle to support the students at Life University for 2 years. This bus recently became available and due to the rarity of this vehicle the purchase needs to be expedited. This vehicle is set up in a manner that will allow some flexibility (supporting up to 3 student wheelchairs) so that students attending the Life University can be transported. The availability and flexibility of this vehicle make this our best option.
