Substitute Proposal.pdf
Background & Rationale: Many of the surrounding districts have moved to staffing agencies, such as Kelly's Services, to provide substitute coverage for their classroom teachers. Although our sub. pool has declined over the past couple of years, dropping our avg. fill rates to below 40%, we believe that increasing pay, providing more targeted training, offering incentives, and more actively working to connect our substitutes to our district, we can increase the number of substitutes in our pools.
Budget to be Charged:
Motion: I move that the Board of Education approve the Substitute Pay Increase as presented.
